Welcome to Dragonfly MCP! I'm Emily, and this is my company. Born in Western New York and a proud Bills fan, I discovered my love of Marketing in 2012 when I dropped out of my local high school to successfully co-found a four-grade high school alongside a few good friends who shared a great love and interest in educational philosophy and hands-on learning.
During this life-changing endeavor, I found a passion for storytelling as I shared the tale of a bunch of teenagers who risked everything in pursuit of learning in a more immersive way. As a result, my overly-creative and ever-questioning mind finally had an outlet that encouraged innovation and accepted nuance in a way I had never experienced before. I found my strengths in continuous learning, resiliency, adaptation, relentlessly fighting for a cause, taking necessary risks, and thinking outside the box when resources or options seemed scarce.
I was fascinated with what connects people, drives their interests, and all the new modes of communication rapidly increasing before my very eyes. I enjoyed the challenge of learning new platforms and pairing technology with face-to-face interaction to create an impactful and curated experience. I found excitement in forging new relationships and partnering with local businesses and corporate powerhouses alike.
I chased these interests into higher education, where I took every opportunity to study new things, intern in many different aspects of business, marketing, and communications, and learn to balance a dual degree program alongside several working or interning obligations.
Upon graduating with honors from my university, I began working with a nonprofit fair trade organization that markets handcrafted products made by disadvantaged artisans. From there, I spent some time working with Broadway and served as the Director of Marketing at a high-profile boutique marketing agency; however, I found a true passion for working in Real Estate.
I worked as the Director of Marketing for a locally owned and operated brokerage for almost three years and loved it. While marketing the brokerage and running our design team was my primary goal, my true passion was the variety that came from working with nearly eighty different realtors to grow and advertise their businesses. I enjoyed the challenge of working within the unique confines of various demographics, business styles, personalities, budgets, and goals.
My experience with Real Estate was fantastic and I am thrilled to continue working in the industry. My passions are to assist in business development, creation, and growth, and I built Dragonfly MCP to satisfy my desire to work with clients in multiple industries. I wanted to be more in control of the quality of work I produce, exercise more of my relevant skillsets in , work on a greater variety of projects, and be in control of the time I am able to spend with each client. My goal is to accommodate my client's every unique need and surpass their personal and business goals. Additionally, I utilize my ability to create thoughtful, unique, and impactful messaging and visuals to elevate my clients above their competition and be heard clearly by their target audience in a world of over saturation.
I firmly believe in mutually beneficial relationships and fair business. Marketing isn't only good for the client; marketing helps to drive value and build stronger communities. While generic marketing has its time and place, I am passionate about creating a completely customized approach for every single client that is cohesive with their identity and what they wish to accomplish. Each business has something unique that they bring to the table, and I am thrilled to unleash their successes.
It has been my dream to run my own company for as long as I can remember, and it wouldn’t be possible without some truly spectacular individuals. I want to thank my incredible husband and son for being such unwavering support, motivation, inspiration, and continuous light in my life. I want to thank my parents for their resiliency and teaching me that difficult times should be fought through for extraordinary outcomes and that forgiveness, love, and patience are the most potent forces. I want to thank my grandmother who is a constant source of inspiration and who always has told me to go for whatever dream I had at the time. Finally, thank you to every person or moment that challenged me to think differently, learn ferociously, and strive for transformation.
